Add a service location

Add a service location when the work happens somewhere other than the customer's existing locations.

Before you begin

Open the correct customer and have the service address ready. If someone different should receive updates for this location, have that person's phone number or email address available.

Open the location form

1. Click Customers.
2. Open the customer.
3. Find Locations.
4. Click Add Location.

A location has its own address and contact choices but remains connected to the customer record.

Enter location information

1. Enter a recognizable Location Name, such as “Main Office,” “Rental House,” or the street name.
2. Start typing the Address, then choose the correct result.
3. If the address is not found, click Enter manually.
4. Enter a Contact Person when someone at this site should be named on the record.
5. Add the location phone number and email address when they differ from the customer's main contact information.
6. Use the notification controls beside the phone or email when that contact should receive job updates.
7. Choose Residential or Commercial.
8. Select Set as primary location only if this should become the default site for the customer.
9. Add location tags when they help the team identify access, property type, or routing needs.
10. Click Add Location.

What happens next

The location appears in the customer's Locations section and becomes available when your team creates a job for that customer.

Troubleshooting

Add Location is unavailable

Complete the Location Name and Address fields. Both are required.

The new location does not appear on a job

Confirm the correct customer is selected on the job, then refresh the customer and location information.

The wrong location became primary

Open the intended location, edit it, and set that record as the primary location.
