Get around Nexus

Last updated July 23, 2026

Nexus keeps daily work within a shared header and navigation area, so you can move between customer, operations, financial, and reporting work without returning to a separate home screen.

Use this guide when you need to open a workspace, find Settings, check notifications, or get help.

Common uses

  • Move between daily operations, customer, finance, and reporting work.
  • Open Help, notifications, profile choices, or Settings from a familiar place.

Before you begin

Your navigation reflects your role and the features available to your company. It is normal for two team members to see different choices.

Open a workspace

  1. Sign in to Nexus.
  2. Use the main navigation to select a direct workspace such as Dashboard, Reporting, Galileo, Marketing, or Customers.
  3. Open Operations for choices such as New Job, Inbound, Shifts, Dispatch, Jobs, Knowledge Hub, Follow Ups, Projects, and Leads.
  4. Open Finance for Pricebook, Inventory, Purchasing, Accounting, and Payroll.
  5. Select the workspace you need. The active choice is highlighted.

The main header keeps search, workspace navigation, Help, notifications, your profile, and Settings available from most pages.

On a smaller screen, select Menu to open the same workspaces in a side panel. The mobile panel groups pages under Workspace, Operations, Finance, Growth, and Settings.

Use the navigation controls

  • Select the Nexus logo to return to Dashboard.
  • Use the global search field to look for customers, jobs, invoices, and other records. See Search across Nexus.
  • Select the magnifying-glass button labeled Advanced Search for a full results workspace.
  • Select Help to search the Help Center or contact support.
  • Select the bell when your role includes notifications.
  • Select your profile for account options.
  • Select the gear labeled Settings to manage company and team configuration.

Hover over an icon when you need to confirm its label before selecting it.

Search the Help Center

  1. Select Help.
  2. Keep Help Center selected.
  3. Enter a task or screen name in Search setup guides, workflows, and troubleshooting.
  4. Select a result to open the guide.
  5. Use the support option when the documentation does not resolve the issue.

Understand missing navigation

A page may be hidden when it is not included for your company or your role does not allow access. Ask a manager to compare your responsibilities with the relevant role settings. Do not use another team member’s sign-in.

What happens next

The selected workspace opens in the main content area. You can keep related work open with workspace tabs, or return to the header to move to another part of Nexus.

Troubleshooting

A workspace is missing

Confirm you are looking in the correct group, such as Operations or Finance. If it is still missing, ask a manager whether your role includes that workspace and whether the feature is available for your company.

The mobile menu covers the page

Select Menu again, select a destination, or tap outside the panel to close it.

Help Center search returns no results

Use a shorter phrase based on the visible page or button label. For example, search for “arrival window” instead of describing the entire scheduling problem.
