Find and filter jobs
Last updated July 23, 2026
The Jobs workspace gives your office a searchable list of current and completed work. Use it to find a job, review scheduling details, or open the full job workspace.
Common uses
- Find an active or completed job by customer, location, number, or technician.
- Build a focused work list with status, job type, business unit, and date filters.
Before you begin
You need permission to view jobs. If you are looking for one specific record, have its job number, customer name, location, or technician ready.
Open Jobs
- Open Operations in the main navigation.
- Select Jobs.
- Select Open Jobs for active work or Completed Jobs for closed work.
The active tab controls whether the table shows open or completed work.
Search and filter the table
- Enter a value in Search all returned job fields....
- Open Status and select one or more statuses.
- Use Job Type, Business Unit, and Technician to focus on the responsible team or kind of work.
- Add Date From and Date To when you need a specific service period.
- Select a column heading such as Start Date to sort the table.
- Select the expand button when you need more room to review wide rows.
- Select Clear to remove all search and filter choices.
Several choices can be selected within the Status, Job Type, Business Unit, and Technician filters.
Open connected records
- Select Job ID to open the job workspace.
- Select Customer to open the customer record.
- Select Location to open the service location.
- Select Invoice to open the connected invoice when one exists.
The table also shows Value, Start Date, Arrival Window, and Technician, which helps you verify the correct job before opening it.
What happens next
The selected record opens without changing the job. From the job workspace you can manage appointments, notes, tasks, files, billing, and completion.
Troubleshooting
A job is missing
Check both Open Jobs and Completed Jobs, select Clear, and search again by job number or customer name. Also confirm the job date is not outside your selected range.
No jobs match the filters
Remove filters one at a time, beginning with the dates and technician. A job may have a different current status or no technician assignment.
A column is cut off
Select the expand button or scroll horizontally within the table.
