Review equipment and memberships

Last updated July 23, 2026

Review equipment and membership records before creating work so the team understands what is installed, which service benefits apply, and which location is covered.

Common uses

  • Confirm equipment details and open the work connected to an installation.
  • Check whether a membership covers one location or all locations.
  • Sell or bill a membership from the correct service site.
  • Update a membership card, reactivate coverage, or cancel a plan.

Before you begin

Open the exact service location when the customer has more than one site. Membership plans must already be available to sell, and membership actions require the appropriate permission.

Go to Customers and open the customer. Use the customer record for a relationship-wide view, or open a site from Locations for its equipment and membership coverage.

Review equipment

  1. Go to Customers and open the customer.
  2. Find Equipment for a customer-wide summary.
  3. Review each item’s visible details and installation date.
  4. Click a connected job when a job link is available.
  5. For site-specific history, open Locations, select the site, and find its Equipment card.

Use location equipment as the primary reference when a customer has several properties.

Review and manage memberships

  1. On the customer record, find Customer Memberships.
  2. Review the plan name, plan kind, All locations or Single location scope, status, recurring price, billing status, and next billing date.
  3. Open a location to review Location Memberships for that site.
  4. To sell coverage, open the location’s Actions menu and choose Sell Membership.
  5. Complete the membership invoice and confirm the customer, location, plan, and price.
  6. Use View Details for the complete membership record.
  7. Use Create Membership Invoice when another membership invoice is needed.
  8. Use Update Card to save a new default card for future membership payments.
  9. When shown, use Reactivate for a supported suspended or past-due membership.
  10. Click Cancel only after confirming the customer wants to end the membership.

Check both plan scope and current status before billing or changing coverage.

Add site conditions or clarification with customer and location notes, then continue with Enter job details.

What happens next

Equipment remains connected to its customer, location, and prior work. Membership status and billing information refresh on the customer and applicable location records so staff can review them before the next visit.

Troubleshooting

Equipment appears under the wrong site

Open the connected job and verify its service location. Correct the work or location association through your normal job process before relying on the equipment history.

An expected equipment item is missing

Check both the customer and location equipment cards, then review the most recent installation job. Refresh the record after updates.

Sell Membership is unavailable

Confirm you opened a location connected to a customer and that your role can sell memberships.

Reactivate is not shown

The action appears for supported suspended or past-due memberships. Use View Details to confirm the current status.
