Use the Reporting library
Last updated July 23, 2026
The Reporting library helps you answer common business questions without starting from a blank page. Search templates by question or field, narrow to a dataset, open saved reports, or continue to the custom builder.
Before you begin
You need Reporting access. Clean Business Unit, Job Type, campaign, status, and staff data makes report results easier to understand.
Open and navigate Reporting
Go to Reporting in the main navigation.
The Reporting rail includes:
- Library for templates;
- Saved for reports your company has saved;
- Scheduled for recurring delivery; and
- dataset shortcuts for Jobs, Appointments, Technicians, Customers, and Locations.
Start with the dataset that contains the primary record you want one row to represent.
Find a report template
- Open Library.
- Enter a business question, metric, field, or category in the search.
- Choose All datasets, Jobs, Appointments, Technicians, Customers, or Locations.
- Review the matching-template count.
- Read each template's description and included measures.
- Select the template that best matches your question.
- Review the date field, columns, and filters when it opens in Report Builder.
Search phrases can be direct, such as “completed revenue,” “recalls,” “booking,” or “business unit.”
Open a saved report
- Select Saved.
- Find the report by name.
- Open it.
- Review the saved dataset, dates, columns, and notes.
- Click Run to load current results.
- Edit and save only when the report's shared definition should change.
Delete a saved report only after confirming it is not used by a scheduled delivery.
Saved reports retain their structure; Run loads results using the current data and selected dates.
Choose a useful dataset
- Choose Jobs for job number, status, business unit, job type, revenue, and completion questions.
- Choose Appointments for scheduled visits, technician assignments, timing, and appointment status.
- Choose Technicians for staff-level productivity or workload.
- Choose Customers for customer-level attributes and activity.
- Choose Locations for service-area and location-level questions.
If the report needs a related value, start with the dataset representing the outcome you intend to count.
What happens next
A selected template opens in Report Builder. Saved reports can be rerun, exported, and scheduled for explicit recipients.
Troubleshooting
No templates match the search
Clear the dataset filter and shorten the search to a field or business concept. Try the dataset shortcut first, then browse its categories.
A saved report is missing
Open Saved, clear the search, and confirm you have Reporting access. The report may have been deleted or saved under a different name.
Results differ from another workspace
Compare the report's dataset, date field, date range, filters, and record status with the other workspace. Then run the report again.
