Work with Galileo

Last updated July 23, 2026

Galileo is the Nexus workspace for asking questions, planning work, and completing supported tasks with company-approved access. Use separate chats for focused goals, review approvals before work continues, and keep skills, rules, and permissions aligned with the person's responsibilities.

Before you begin

Galileo must be enabled for your company and your role. Complete Company Profile, review staff roles, and add approved reference documents to Knowledge Hub.

Open Galileo and complete setup

Go to Galileo in the main navigation.

If onboarding appears:

  1. Review the Galileo name and company context.
  2. Answer the setup questions using plain descriptions of the role.
  3. Choose the work Galileo should focus on.
  4. Review any selected role or permission choices.
  5. Complete setup.
  6. Confirm Chat opens.

If Galileo is not enabled appears, ask an administrator to review plan availability. If Galileo couldn't open appears, click Try again.

Use the left navigation to separate conversations, approvals, skills, rules, and access.

Start and manage a chat

  1. Select Chat.
  2. Click the New chat button.
  3. Enter one clear goal with the customer, date range, or record context needed.
  4. Send the message.
  5. Answer any follow-up question Galileo asks.
  6. Review the response and linked Nexus records.
  7. Rename the chat when a clearer title will help later.
  8. Archive a chat after the work is complete.

Ask in customer-facing terms, such as “Show open jobs for the North business unit this week,” rather than describing how Nexus stores or processes information.

Review approvals and work

  1. Select Work.
  2. Review pending approvals and delayed work.
  3. Open an item to read the intended action and affected records.
  4. Confirm the scope and expected outcome.
  5. Approve only when the action matches your request.
  6. Reject or skip work that is incomplete, incorrect, or no longer needed.
  7. Return to the chat to give corrected instructions.

Read the action and affected records before approving Galileo work.

Manage Skills, Rules, and Permissions

  1. Open Skills to review available, active, paused, or scheduled skills.
  2. Select a skill to read what it does before running or activating it.
  3. Open Rules to review the decisions Galileo should follow.
  4. Keep rules short, specific, and consistent with company policy.
  5. Open Permissions to review the selected Galileo employee and its role.
  6. Save access changes.
  7. Open Settings for employee details, plan usage, or status.

What happens next

Chats remain searchable in Galileo, approved work continues through the supported Nexus workflow, and Dashboard records the activity and usage available to your role.

Troubleshooting

Galileo cannot find the expected information

Restate the goal with the exact Nexus labels, date range, and business unit. Confirm your role and Galileo permissions include the workspace.

An approval does not match the request

Reject it and return to the chat. Explain the exact record, limit, and outcome Galileo should use.

A reference answer is outdated

Review the source document in Knowledge Hub, replace it with the current approved version, and ask the question again.
