Manage Google and Meta advertising

Last updated July 23, 2026

Ad Management brings supported Google and Meta advertising work into Nexus. Use it to complete setup, review campaign results, monitor customer outcomes, and make deliberate changes with the right advertising account.

Before you begin

Ad Management may depend on your company's plan. Connect the intended account in Marketing Connections, confirm the billing and business settings in Google or Meta, and decide who may make campaign changes.

Open Ad Management

Go to Marketing → Ad Management.

Use the available navigation to move among Setup, Google PPC, Meta Ads, Conversions, Funnels, Domains, Optimization, and Settings.

  1. Open Setup and review connection readiness.
  2. Confirm the expected advertising account.
  3. Review conversion and domain readiness.
  4. Complete any setup item marked incomplete.
  5. Return to the Ad Management overview.

Complete setup and confirm the account before changing campaigns.

Review Google PPC or Meta Ads

  1. Open Google PPC or Meta Ads.
  2. Select the date range.
  3. Review campaign status, spend, impressions, clicks, and conversions shown.
  4. Open a campaign for ad-group, audience, creative, or budget details.
  5. Compare the campaign with Campaign performance.
  6. Make only the approved changes available to your role.
  7. Save or publish when the workspace presents that action.

Review conversions

  1. Open Conversions.
  2. Review recent lead, call, job, appointment, and paid-invoice outcomes.
  3. Check the platform, campaign, event time, and value.
  4. Follow any available record relationship for context.
  5. Note failed or incomplete statuses and use the on-screen retry or setup guidance.

Use business outcomes—not clicks alone—to evaluate campaign performance.

Use Optimization carefully

  1. Open Optimization.
  2. Review the date range and campaign context.
  3. Read each recommendation and its expected effect.
  4. Confirm the recommendation fits current capacity, service areas, and budget.
  5. Apply only approved changes.
  6. Record the decision in your team's campaign review notes.
  7. Recheck results after enough time has passed for a fair comparison.

What happens next

Saved campaign changes continue through Google or Meta, while recorded conversions and revenue can appear in Nexus attribution. Use Funnels when a campaign needs a dedicated customer page or booking path.

Troubleshooting

Ad Management says setup is incomplete

Open Setup and complete the specific connection, domain, account, or conversion item shown. Then refresh the workspace.

Campaign totals do not match the advertising account

Confirm the same account, date range, time zone, and campaign status. Recent platform activity may take time to appear.

Conversions are missing

Review Conversions, Campaign performance, and the campaign selected on the customer work. Confirm the conversion source is connected and active.
