Manage Pricebook memberships

Purpose and common uses
Membership plans define the benefits, billing schedule, and prices available when selling a membership to a customer. Use clear plan names and descriptions so staff can explain the value consistently.
Before you begin
Decide whether the plan is a recurring-service or discount plan, its billing frequency, new-sale price, renewal price, coverage, and included benefits. Confirm any services that receive member pricing are already configured.
Navigate to Memberships
- Click Pricebook.
- Click Memberships.
- Search the active and archived plans before adding another.
The plan list is the source used by the Sell Membership invoice action.
Create or update a plan
- Click the add-membership control.
- Enter the membership name and customer-facing description.
- Choose the plan type and billing frequency.
- Enter the new-sale, recurring, and renewal prices that apply.
- Set the coverage scope and included benefits.
- Add any renewal or cancellation terms shown to the customer.
- Set the plan to active.
- Save and review the completed plan.
Check the sale and renewal amounts separately before activating the plan.
Use the row action menu to edit, archive, or restore a plan. Archive a discontinued plan instead of repurposing it so existing customer memberships keep their original meaning.
What happens next
The plan becomes available from Quick Actions → Sell Membership on an invoice. The invoice records the sale, and the customer record shows the resulting membership.
Troubleshooting
A plan does not appear in Sell Membership
Confirm the plan is active and has a valid sale price. Close and reopen the membership selector after saving.
The customer receives the wrong benefit or price
Review the selected plan, billing frequency, coverage, member prices on applicable services, and the membership shown on the customer record.
A discontinued plan still appears on existing customers
Archiving prevents new sales; it does not cancel existing memberships. Review each customer membership separately.
