Use the dispatch list

Last updated July 23, 2026

The Dispatch List arranges work by technician and supports day, week, and month review. Use it when you want a column-based view of assignments and capacity.

Common uses

  • Compare technician workloads over a day, week, or month.
  • Move appointments between technician columns and review capacity.

Before you begin

Appointments should have accurate dates, durations, and business units. Staff shifts help explain when a technician appears available.

Open the List view

  1. Open Operations → Dispatch.
  2. Select List.
  3. Choose Day, Week, or Month.
  4. Use the previous and next arrows, date selector, or Today.
  5. Select a business unit when the filter is available.

Change the date range to compare one day in detail or review a longer scheduling period.

Find and review work

  1. Enter a customer, job, or location in Search jobs....
  2. Use All Status to focus on Scheduled, Dispatched, En Route, Working, or Completed work.
  3. Find the technician’s column.
  4. Select a job card to review it.
  5. Drag a card to a different technician or position when changing the assignment or schedule is appropriate.

Review the appointment after a drag to confirm the intended technician and time.

Use list controls

  • Select Board for the timeline view.
  • Select Map for routes and locations.
  • Select the Settings control to review job buffer preferences.
  • Select Optimize to apply route optimization for active technicians.
  • Select New Job when you need to book work.

What happens next

Saved drag-and-drop changes update the appointment and appear in Board, Map, and the job workspace.

Troubleshooting

A job card is missing

Clear search and status filters, verify the date range and business unit, and confirm the job has an appointment.

A drag does not save

Return the card to its original position, confirm the destination technician and date are valid, and try again. Open the job to verify its appointment afterward.

A technician column is missing

Check the selected business unit and the technician’s active staff and shift setup.
