Use the dispatch map

The Dispatch Map shows job and technician locations for the selected day. Use it to understand geography, review a technician’s route, or open a job from its map location.
Common uses
- Compare job geography with technician assignments.
- Review a route or current technician locations during the day.
Before you begin
Jobs need valid service addresses, and technician location visibility depends on your company’s setup and the technician’s current connection.
Open and filter the map
- Open Operations → Dispatch.
- Select Map.
- Choose the date.
- Select a business unit when the filter is available.
- Enter a value in Search jobs....
- Use the status filter to narrow the displayed work.
Use the technician list and map together to connect workload with geography.
Review technicians and routes
- Select a technician in the sidebar.
- Review the technician’s jobs for the chosen date.
- Select View Route when available.
- Review route order and travel information.
- Select a job marker to open the connected job.
- Close the route view when finished.
View live locations
- Select View Live Locations.
- Wait while the button shows Connecting....
- When connected, the button shows Live.
- Compare live technician positions with scheduled stops.
Live locations support dispatch decisions but do not replace confirming directly with the technician when plans change.
What happens next
Map review does not change jobs. Open a job for full appointment actions, or return to Board or List to adjust placement.
Troubleshooting
A job marker is missing
Clear filters and confirm the job date and service address. Open the job or location record to correct an incomplete address.
Live locations stay on Connecting
Wait briefly, then turn live locations off and on. Confirm location visibility is available for the technicians you are reviewing.
A route cannot be displayed
Confirm the technician has assigned jobs with valid addresses on the selected date.
