  1. Click Jobs.
  2. Find the job and click its Job ID.
  3. In the job header, click the pencil beside the job number.

The editable job header with Business Unit, Job Type, Marketing Campaign, Priority, Save, and Cancel.

The pencil opens the editable job fields without leaving the job workspace.

Change the business unit

  1. Open Business Unit.
  2. Select the business unit that should be responsible for the work.
  3. Review Job Type and choose the correct option if it changed.
  4. Review Marketing Campaign and Priority while the header is open.
  5. Click Save.

Click Cancel instead if you do not want to keep the changes.

What happens next

The selected business unit appears in the job header. Review the appointment and assigned technicians to make sure the job is still routed to the right team.

Troubleshooting

The business unit is not listed

Confirm you opened the correct job. If the business unit is still missing, ask a manager to confirm it is available in Settings.

The expected job type disappeared

The Job Type list follows the selected business unit. Choose a job type available for the new unit, or click Cancel and review the business-unit choice.

You changed the wrong job

If the edit fields are still open, click Cancel. If you already saved, open the header again and select the previous business unit.
